چکیده

This study’s aim was to examine the effect of non-Newtonian fluid (NN) shoe and ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) on human lower limb biomechanics muscle activation during running in hot temperatures. Thirty-five men utilizing a rearfoot strike ran 5 km at self-selected tempo an average summer temperature 41.7 ± 1.0 °C relative humidity 80.7 3.5%. The kinematics, kinetics, right leg were monitored from landing until pedal off ground. A two-way repeated-measures ANOVA conducted investigate main effects condition, temperature, interaction effect. Wearing NN high resulted increased hip range motion (ROM) (p = 0.001). knee torque significantly when wearing EVA shoes after 0.006). When NN, ground reaction force (GRF) loading rate (LR) 0.001; p 0.009). for displacement center pressure (COP) reduced < 0.001), while Neither pair substantially altered activity. After excluding factor fatigue, increase not only changed properties material inside shoe, but also parameters limbs. increases, made materials can quickly stabilize under condition shear stress reduce body. Thus, it indicated that may risk injury extremely conditions.
